Find romance at Niagara Falls

Although Canada might not leap to mind as a great destination for lovebirds, Niagara Falls in the province of Ontario is an amazing attraction for honeymooners going on a Canadian tour.

Niagara Falls has been called the "Honeymoon Capital of the World," and its spectacular beauty makes that title a hard one to contest. For hundreds of years, newlyweds have flocked to the falls to marvel together at its amazing crashing cascade.

Perhaps the most famous way to see the massive waterfall is on the Maid of the Mist, an iconic boat that takes tourists right to the base of the falls. From here, travelers can feel the refreshing spray of the thundering water hit their faces as they look up at the cliffs above them. Fans of the hit sitcom "The Office" will also recognize the vessel as the spot where main characters Jim and Pam got married, making the ship a great place for viewers to recreate their favorite memories of the romantic moment.

Once couples have disembarked, they can explore the nearby Queen Victoria Park. This spectacular royal garden is filled with lush plant life and offers visitors a great spot from which to appreciate views of Niagara Falls itself.
