Welcome to Tokyo! One of the largest, busiest and most thrilling cities on the planet. Your tour begins with a transfer from the airport with a private car and driver to your hotel. Your accommodation will be centrally located in the heart of the city centre, close to all major tourist attractions, shopping and entertainment. Enjoy a private city tour of Tokyo with your own car and driver. Your private, local guide will take you to all the cities hotspots and give you the insight tips and secrets most visitors only dream about getting. Your day will also include a Japanese cooking demonstration, where you will experience the roots of Japanese cuisine, the local ingredients and traditional cooking methods, bring your appetite as a tasting is of course included! You will also enjoy a guided walking tour of Tokyo’s most interesting architectural wonders. As you stroll along, your private guide will explain the history, design and neighborhoods of the various buildings on this tour. Finish your day with an evening Heli Tour over Tokyo as the lights twinkle and the city buzzes below. This tour includes private transfers to and from the helicopter. Day 1 Tokyo

The dramatic first impression of your arrival at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo will remain with you throughout your stay. Today you will have a guided sight seeing tour of Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise Shopping Arcade and Ginza.









Hifumi-an is an elite experience for the Japanese food-lover. A reservation-only "Kaiseki" or traditional Japanese-style restaurant, Hifumi-an boasts a relaxing space with an atmosphere of 1920's. It is famous for preparing delectable and visually stunning cuisine. You will receive an explanation of all ingredients and cooking methods, the history and background story behind everything to do with traditional Japanese cuisine. If you are a foodie, this experience is an absolute MUST! Overnight at Mandarin Oriental.

Stroll through selected neighborhoods that showcase Tokyo's finest and most interesting architecture. Your private guide will explain the backgrounds and history of each building along with other interesting highlights of the area. You will be provided with a local guide and vehicle to help you explore the city and experience some of the more unique aspects of Japanese culture. Soar high above the buzzing city of Tokyo, one of the world's largest and most impressive metropolises. Your helicopter tour will show you the various regions within this sprawling city from a brand new vantage point and give you further insight into this magical and exciting place.   • Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
  • Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
  • Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund less any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise, or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
