Day 1

Day 3
Ushuaia Ushuaia is the world's second-southernmost city and is located on the southern tip of the island of Tierra del Fuego. The city and nearby national park is a popular vacation spot for Buenos Aires. Ushuaia is one of the departure points for Antarctic expeditions and for visiting the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas). Day 4
Ushuaia Partake in a half day shared tour in a comfortable small air-conditioned coach and English speaking Guide to explore the Tierra del Fuego National Park, situated 11 km from Ushuaia. The park was established in 1960 with the intention of protecting the southernmost portion of the sub Antarctic forest and is made up of 63000 hectares. Unlike many other parks, it combines the ocean, forests and mountains. The biological richness of the Tierra del Fuego Island with its beautiful scenery is simply stunning. You can find animals such as red foxes, cauquenes, ducks, Patagonian wood peckers and more than 90 species of birds that are part of the Fuegian fauna, as well as beavers and rabbits, which were introduced to the island by colonizers. The forest is formed by lengas, guindos, ñires and valleys of peat and lichens. Ensenada Bay, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay (the end of the Pan-American Highway that contacts Alaska and Tierra del Fuego) give color to this unique place where we can still find reminders of the ancestral inhabitants: the yámanas. Day 5
El Calafate El Calafate is a little village in Patagonia, Argentina. It is situated in the southern border of Lake Argentino, in the southwest part of the Santa Cruz Province, about 320 km Northwest from Río Gallegos. The city is an important tourist destination as the hub to visit different parts of the Los Glaciares National Park, including the Perito Moreno Glacier (one of the most visited in the world) and the Cerro Chaltén and Cerro Torre. Day 6
El Calafate An excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier is a must! You will be picked up from your hotel for a full day shared excursion to the Glacier, one of Argentina's prime touristic attractions. The 30 km (19 mi) long glacier, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile, it is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water and one of only three Patagonian glaciers that are not retreating.
You will travel about about 2 hours to reach the Glaciers National Park and from the beginning you will see this trip has pleasant surprises! Already in the outskirts of El Calafate, you can see the Argentine Lake with its Round Bay populated with an important variety of birds such as the black neck swan, flamencos, duck steams, gallaretas, the cauquén and coirones. You will enter about 26 km into the Glaciers National Park where you will observe the arboreal vegetation formed by ñires, sour cherries and lengas. As well as some flowers of diverse colors like the outstanding “notro” with its intense red colour.
A large visitor centre at the site features a walking circuit which allows views of different faces and the surface of the glacier. There is also a restaurant at the site, if you feel like stopping and having some lunch (not included). Throughout the day the guide will explain the general features of the glacier and give specific details of Glacier Perito Moreno's flora and fauna, and its particular formation. Iguazu Falls Iguazu Falls are located on the border of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones. The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometres (1.67 miles) of the Iguazu River. Some of the individual falls are up to 82 metres (269 ft) in height, though the majority are about 64 metres (210 ft). The Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), a U-shaped 150-metre-wide and 700-metre-long (490 by 2300 feet) cliff, is the most impressive of all, and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. Day 9
Iguazu Falls Experience the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls from Misiones, the area which borders Brazil. After being picked up by your private vehicle, professional driver and English speaking Guide, you will be transferred to Iguassu Park to take a train to the walkways. Marvel at the Iguassu Falls as you make your way along the walkway system. Stop by "Devil's Throat" and get up close to the Falls. On the way home, you may like to visit the Argentine shopping district and the 3-borders point where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet before you are dropped back at your hotel. Consider doing an hour and a half boat safari combining river navigation and jungle safari. After a 12km drive in a 4x4 vehicle into the jungle, learn about the wildlife of the area, before reaching "Port Macuco". From there, you can continue by powerful zodiac speedboats, 12km up river passing through the white waters of the lower Iguazu River and into the Devil's Throat canyon. You will also visit the "San Martin" and the "Tres Mosqueteros" falls to experience the force of nature. Stop for a quick and refreshing "shower" underneath it. Alternatively, enjoy a 2 hour tour encompassing a short ride in a 4x4, a short walk in the forest, and a ride on inflatable boats which will take you out to bask in the grandeur of the Iguazu Falls, at an unbelievable proximity to its base. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
