Immerse yourself in the grandeur of your natural surroundings on this journey through Teton National Park. Grand Teton mountain, the National Park's namesake, rises to 13,775 feet (4,199 m) which is more than 7,000 feet (2,100 m) above Jackson Hole. Running through the park is Snake River which is a lifeline to bison, elk, moose, beaver, otter, pronghorn, deer, bear, and over 300 species of birds, including osprey and eagles. Spend the day floating serenely from Dead Man’s Bar through ten miles of the most peaceful section of the Snake River to Moose Village and back. Wake up at dawn to catch the animals in their prime time. The sun cascading over the mountain range will provide the ideal lighting for photos.
Speak to your travel consultant to customize this trip with a private photography lesson by a professional photographer or stay a few days longer in Yellowstone National Park just 10 miles North of Teton. After hiking the techincial terrain and meandering down Snake River we recommend indulging your muscles with a night or two at the Luxury Amangani, an Aman Resort.
