Day 1
New York City New York City, the biggest city in the United States, lies at the mouth of the Hudson River in the southern most part of the state, which is part of the Mid-Atlantic region of the USA. New York City consists of five boroughs, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island. Each borough has a unique culture and could be a large city in its own right. Visitors to Manhattan usually divide their time between Downtown (Wall St, Liberty Island ferry, Chinatown, SoHo, East Village), Midtown (Times Square, Theatres, Empire State, 5th Ave stores, Chelsea, Gramercy), and Uptown (Central Park, Upper East Side museums, Harlem, Upper West cafes). Day 2
New York City Pick up from Midtown Manhattan hotel, you will proceed North West and encounter the Hearst Building, the Time Warner Center and Trump International. First stop at Lincoln Center, home of the acclaimed Metropolitan Opera House and the Julliard School of Music; stop at the Dakota Building and walk through Strawberry Fields, the small part of Park dedicated to John Lennon. Continue along Central Park West; on the left is the Museum of Natural History, and then reach to Harlem. Walk among the typical 'brownstones'. Back on the bus, head south along Fifth Avenue, stop (without leaving the bus) to admire the Guggenheim Museum. The Museum Mile offers an unparalleled concentration of world-class museums such as the Museo del Barrio, Design, Metropolitan, Frick Collection). You will arrive in front of the United Nations Building, stop for a photo; from behind the wonderful architecture of the Chrysler Building. Again, on 252nd Street, Grand Central Station, the New York Public Library, and stop in front of the first skyscraper built in New York: the Flatiron Building. This is the perfect spot for a photo of the majestic Empire State Building. Get on the bus to Greenwich Village, home to artists and place of birth of the Beat Generation. You will cross Bleecker Street with its many live music bars and restaurants and reach Little Italy where you will stop for a walk. Walk up to Chinatown. On board the bus you will then reach the world famous Brooklyn Bridge and you will enjoy the amazing view of the bridges. Next you will see the Financial District, Wall Street, the bronze bull and stop at Battery Park where you will admire the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island which houses the Museum of Immigration. Continue north on West Highway; on the right hand side the site of the New World Trade Center, on the left along the Hudson River, see the fast developing New Jersey skyline. Stop in the neighborhood of the 'hip & famous': the Meatpacking District (seen in Sex & the City and dozens of other movies). You can 'walk on the new Highline (raised garden) or eat in one of the many restaurants or at Chelsea Market, a curious market that goes from 9 to 33 Avenue. Day 3
New York City The Big Apple has so much to offer you can't possible see it all in one visit. Speak to your Sales Advisor to make this the trip of your dreams! Here are a few things that we suggest visiting; Empire State Building, American Museum of Natural History, Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters, Madame Tussauds, Top of the Rock or a Manhattan Helicopter tour. Canada & New England Cruise Newport is a city on Aquidneck Island in Newport County, Rhode Island. Known as a New England summer resort and for the famous Newport Mansions, the city was the location of some of the "Summer White Houses" during the administrations of Presidents Dwight D. Day 7

Its plethora of museums, historical sights, and wealth of live performances, all explain why the city gets 16.3 million visitors a year, making it one of the ten most popular tourist locations in the country. The historic areas of Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Chinatown, Downtown, the Fenway, the Financial District, Government Center, the North End, and the South End comprise the area considered "Boston Proper." Day 8
Canada & New England Cruise Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine. A popular summer residence area, the name Bar Harbor has become synonymous with elite wealth, as historically, the rich and famous constantly tried to outdo each other with entertaining and estates. A wildfire in 1947 burned a considerable portion of the city, including 67 palatial summer houses on Millionares' Row, fortunately avoiding the town's business district, and historic Mount Desert Street. Day 9
Canada & New England Cruise 2012 is the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Departing from the port, today's private tour with driver and guide encompasses all aspects of Halifax's connection to the sinking of the Titanic, including the historic pier from which cable ships were dispatched to pick up victims, the churches, temporary morgue sites, and Fairview Cemetery, where rows of gravestones mark the final resting place of 121 victims. Immerse yourself in history at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which houses an excellent permanent exhibit on the disaster, including photographs, wooden artifacts and the only intact Titanic deck chair in the world. Compare the details of this devastating event to the Halifax Explosion which occurred just five years later. The result of a collision between the Imo and the Mont Blanc, a French munitions ship, the explosion leveled the north end of Halifax, and killed or injured thousands. But most importantly, learn of the compassionate relief effort displayed by the world to help this city and its inhabitants overcome their instant and tragic loss, and rebuild their lives. Return to port. Halifax is a city in Canada, which was the capital of the province of Nova Scotia. It was the largest city in Atlantic Canada until it was amalgamated into Halifax Regional Municipality in 1996. Halifax Harbour is among the largest natural harbours in the world, and settlement here by the British was originally planned with strategic military protection in mind. Local sights include Halifax Citadel, Pier 21 (Canada's Ellis Island), Maritime Museum, and a tidy collection of parks, shops and restaurants. Day 10
Canada & New England Cruise Departing the port with a private vehicle and guide, you'll go on an exploration of the most interesting sites of Sydney and the surrounding area. Head to the Nova Scotia Highland Village Museum, a living cultural centre celebrating the Gaelic experience in Nova Scotia. You'll continue through the scenic centre of Cape Breton Island, en route to Baddeck Village where you'll go for a quick walk along the waterfront. You'll travel to the scenic Iona Peninsula along the Bras d'Or, noted for its native wildlife. You'll end your journey with a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, displaying work of the famous local inventor. Return to port. Sydney, Nova Scotia, is located on the east coast of Cape Breton Island. Founded in 1785 by the British, the city only recently became a tourist destination, with large government investment in cruise ship facilities and a waterfront revitalization plan which has seen a boardwalk and marinas constructed, in addition to the world's largest fiddle being constructed along the waterfront, celebrating the region's Scottish heritage dating back to the early 1600's. Day 11
Canada & New England Cruise Charlottetown is the largest city and provincial capital of Prince Edward Island. The city was named the colonial capital of the island by the British in 1764, and is largely renowned as the "Birthplace of Confederation." Charlottetown's downtown includes the city's historic five hundred lots, as surveyed by Captain Samuel Holland, as well as the waterfront facing the harbour and the Hillsborough River. Day 13
Canada & New England Cruise You'll depart the port with a private vehicle and English-speaking guide and drive to Montmorency Falls, a scenic view and lookout, with a drop nearly 90 feet higher than Niagara Falls. Continue along Avenue Royale, the oldest road of ‘new France’, and arrive in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré to explore the grounds and visit an old church built by shipwrecked sailors. You’ll view the majestic Chateau Frontenac on your way back into Québec City, driving through the island of Orléans. Quebec City is the capital of the province of Quebec. Founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain, Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. The ramparts surrounding Old Quebec are the only remaining fortified city walls in the Americas north of Mexico, and were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Quebec City is internationally known for its Summer Festival, Winter Carnival, and the Château Frontenac, a hotel which dominates the city skyline. The National Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Civilization are found near Vieux-Québec. Other attractions near the city are Montmorency Falls and the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Day 14
Canada & New England Cruise You'll depart the port with a private vehicle and English-speaking guide. You’ll drive through old Montréal, stopping at the majestic Notre-Dame Basilica at Place d’Armes. It’s North America’s second largest church, and considered one of the most elaborate. You’ll drive through the trendy residential area Plateau Mont-Royal, home to many boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. From there you will drive to the summit of Mount Royal, the centerpiece to the city, and inspiration for the name Montreal. Your vantage point from here is unparalleled. Return to port. Montreal is the cultural capital of Quebec and the second largest city in Canada. For over a century and a half, Montreal was the industrial and financial centre of Canada, leaving a legacy of architecture and wealth. It has a well-deserved reputation as one of the liveliest cities in North America, with an inordinate number of attractive, fashionably dressed people. Day 15
Montreal After overnighting in the port, you will disembark from your cruise vessel this morning in Montreal. Bid farewell to your fellow cruisemates as your voyage has come to its conclusion. Today you will head out of Montreal to experience the authentic rural pleasures of Quebec's "Gourmet Trail". Drive south of the city into the pastoral rolling countryside of the Eastern Townships, where scenic villages are interspersed with lush vineyards. Sample local vintages, artisanal cheeses and local delicacies brought fresh from the farm to the table, then enjoy lunch at one of our favourite local restaurants (lunch included) before returning to Montreal.
