Day 1
Miami Miami is the southernmost of Florida's major cities. A very Latin city with a large Spanish speaking population, the city ranges from spectacular wealth to tough neighbourhoods. The neighbourhood of South Beach is the most popular tourist destination, with its warm sandy beaches, shops and cafes. There are many large malls for shopping, great golf courses, and a selection of museums and sporting events. Nearby Everglades and Fort Lauderdale are both popular sights. The Port of Miami is also the starting point for many Caribbean cruises. Upon confirmation of your trip, you will be sent a package with details of your trip. You will be provided with a pre-departure package which will include all necessary information that you will need for your trip including materials such as vouchers, maps, train tickets (if relevant) etc. Meet your professional driver for a private airport transfer. Day 2
Miami Explore the interesting Architectural side of Miami today on a private guided tour. You will be introduced to the Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival, and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles found within the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Explore hotels, restaurants, and other commercial structures with a visit to a number of interiors. Then check out Collins Avenue that epitomizes the glamour of the 1940s before sitting down to a great lunch. This afternoon you will be taken to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Occupying 50 acres of land overlooking Miami's Biscayne Bay is Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a retreat from the hustle of the modern urban city to the era of the early 20th century. Built largely between 1914 and 1917 by Chicagoan James Deering as his winter residence, Vizcaya is one of the best remaining examples from the American Renaissance when the nation's wealthy industrialists built lavish estates inspired by the traditions of the European Renaissance. The estate includes a 70-room main house, filled with early 20th century furnishings and antiques alongside the latest technology of the period, and has been long celebrated for its 10 acres of lush formal gardens referred to as the finest Italianate gardens in the United States. Day 3
Miami Spend a luxurious day out on Miami's coast in your private yacht. Complete with a captain, personal chef, massage therapist and full service staff at your disposal; you will cruise the through Biscayne Bay in style. Drop anchor as you wish and go for a dip in the Atlantic Ocean with your snorkelling gear to see all the marine life up-close. If you are interested in water sports, just let us know and we will arrange to have kayaks and skidoos onboard. The routing will be customized to your liking - we recommend sailing down to the Keys to take in a decadent dinner before returning with the wind at your back. There are many different ship options - ask us for a vessel with a hot tub on board for an over the top sunset sail! In the afternoon, enjoy some time on your own to relax. Day 4
Miami With the Atlantic Ocean at your beackon call, take the day (or two) to sink your toes in Florida's white sand beaches along the Miami Coast. Head to the 85th Street Beach for the best swimming location - since it's free from condos there is more room to spread out both on the beach and in the water. Lummus Park Beach or Glitter Beach is a have for people watching. Keep your eyes peeled for models prepping for photo shoots as it's a common occurance here at Lummus. If you want an untouched, ungroomed, rugged beach head to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park just at the end of Key Biscayne. Here you will find over a mile of rustic beach, a historic lighthouse and nature trails to explore. With its man-made lagoon, fed naturally by the tidal movement of the adjacent Biscayne Bay, the waters of Matheson Hammock Park Beach are prime for families. Its waters are extremely calm, safe and secluded - perfect for keeing an eye on the kids. Last but not least, head to Haulover Beach which is close to Bal Harbour for Miami's best surfing. This beach is known for conjuring up Miami's biggest swells. Rad. For a retro vibe and hip energy, head to the heart of Miami's entertainment district in the heat of the night. Your private limo and driver will take you to the lounge where you will bypass the lines and head straight for the VIP section with the best table and premium bottle service. Day 5
Miami What better way to cruise the streets of Miami than by a luxury Bentley - freshly polished! Your car and driver will be at your disposal to take you to all the hottest spots for Haute shopping in Miami. Let us know if you'd like to pair your day with a private stylist and personal shopper. Meet your helicopter at the pier and take flight over Bizcayne Bay and head south to the Florida Keys. Set your eyes on the breathtaking aerial view of Miami as you coast down for a laid back evening. While in the Keys, take a walk down the main drag and watch as the sun sets over the warm water. Day 6
Miami Sleep in this morning and relax at your hotel. Today you will take in a round at the Great White Course at Doral. Speak to the hotel conceirge to arrange your transfer at your leisure and have the felxibility of hitting a few balls at the range before your tee off. A Greg Norman Signature Course, the 7,171-yard, par-72 Great White Course is the only golf course of its kind in the Southeastern United States that utilizes coquina – crushed shells. Host to the PGA TOUR’s Franklin Templeton “Shoot-Out” in 2000, the Great White was rated as the best new golf course of 2000 by the National Golf Foundation. For decades, Vizcaya has been a diplomatic seat of Miami-Dade County, having hosted some of the world’s most renowned dignitaries—such as Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II, President Ronald Reagan, and King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain—and major international events—such as the Summit of the Americas, the signing of the Free Trade Agreement, and activities associated with Art Basel. This evening the villa will be yours for an exclusive private dinner. Day 7
Miami There are lots to see and do in Miami. Consider a half day shared trip to the Everglades and see all kinds of wildlife such as: alligators, turtles, snakes, fish and exotic birds as you take an airboat ride deep into the Everglades National Park, or a how about a behind the scenes guided tour of magnificent Art in Public Places installations created by renowned artists in Miami as you visit theatres and see star´s dressing rooms, private meeting rooms and lounges not open to the public. Alternatively, consider a cruise along Miami's Biscayne Bay in a lovely two level yacht, and see the luxurious homes of the rich and famous. If you are feeling adventurous, why not consider stand up paddle surfing to explore the Biscayne bay? Please speak to your Sales Advisor if any of these tour options are of interest. Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
