Day 1
Las Vegas Las Vegas is the largest city in the state of Nevada, known as "the Entertainment Capital of the World", and is situated in the midst of the southern Nevada desert. The city has giant mega-casino hotels, decorated with lavish care and attention to detail to create a fantasy-like atmosphere. Aside from gambling, the city has a vast array of entertainment options: live theatre, shopping, restaurants, golf, amusement parks and sports teams. Nearby Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are both very popular day trips. There are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from in the area including rock climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Nevada canyons. Meet your professional driver for an airport transfer in a luxury vehicle. You will be provided with a pre-departure package which will include all necessary information that you will need for your trip including materials such as vouchers, maps, train tickets (if relevant) etc. A package will be sent to your home or office address prior to your travels with any vouchers, maps and hotel reservations that may be relevant to your itinerary. You can also download all vouchers by accessing your webpage - details of which will be provided upon confirmation of your trip. Las Vegas comes to life at night time! Consider a private evening tour taking in a stretch limousine ride from your hotel to the elegant Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino for dinner. Afterwards, head to Rum Jungle, the hottest night club in Las Vegas. Rum Jungle boasts state of the art décor, from fire walls and waterfall walls to volcanic mountains of rum and go-go dancers who perform above the huge bar area. When your evening is over, make your own way back to your hotel for a little shut-eye before heading out again! Alternatively, take in the sunset over the Grand Canyon on a sunset helicopter flight and land on Indian Territory where you can take in the magnificent views all around while sipping on champagne and hors d'oeuvres before flying over the Las Vegas strip - known as "the city of lights". The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino (4*) offers the maximum Vegas experience, with its award-winning restaurants, 170,000 square feet of gaming area, five outdoor pools, including a gently flowing river, private cabanas, cocktail service and a seasonal restaurant. There are also numerous bars and lounges, including Studio 54 and the ultra lounge, Tabu. The entertainment continues with La Femme and Cirque du Soleil's “K” productions. The Lion Habitat showcases lions roaming in a jungle environment; guests can view the lions through a long see-through walkway. Day 2
Las Vegas There is certainly not a lack of things to do in Las Vegas! For the nature lovers, there are a number of adventure tours available. See the Grand Canyon South Rim on our Grand Canyon VIP Adventure Tour available by helicopter, 4X4 jeep or a minibus. There are helicopter tours available on a private or a shared basis - from sunrise to sunset - two of the most spectacular times of the day to view the natural site. Alternatively, journey back 3000 years in time and discover the Great Anasasi "Lost City". Experience authentic Pueblos, pottery, baskets, arrowheads, tools, mystical ancient Indian Petroglyphs and other priceless artefacts. From here, you will travel to the incredible Valley of Fire, which was once the spiritual center of this great Early American Civilization. The rock formations and Indian art will amaze you. You want to see more? If you are at all interested in engineering, you will appreciate Hoover Dam - Consider a day trip to Black Canyon on the Colorado River, where you will see Hoover Dam, the highest structure of its kind in the world. You will be taken to the Visitor Center where you will have a tour of the Dam, including the interior. You will have stunning views from the eastern edge of the canyon on the Arizona side of Lake Mead, the world’s largest man-made lake, and the Dam, from high above. Day 3
Grand Canyon National Park Depending on your time of arrival, you may want to set out on foot and explore Tusayan Village. The most prominent establishment here being the National Geographic Visitor Center. The National Geographic Visitor Center is where your will find inside information, maps, gear or whatever you need to make the most of your time at the Canyon. The National Geographic Visitor Center is also home to the most-watched IMAX® movie of all time. You may want to take advantage of your admission ticket and enjoy this theated experience tonight. Your package includes admission to the National Geographic IMAX Theater movie presentation of “Over the Rim and Beyond”. In only 34 minutes, you will discover a Grand Canyon that would take a lifetime to experience. The film opens with the beginning of man's fragile kinship with this twisting 277 mile Canyon, then moves the audience through time with brief glimpses at the stone pages of human history. From the mysterious Anasazi who inhabited the Canyon 4,000 years ago, viewers will travel through Grand Canyon history to join Major John Wesley Powell as he challenges the unexplored Canyon and raging Colorado River in 1869. Includes daily car rental. The Canyon Plaza Resort (3*) is located one mile from the entrance of the park. Amenities include a restaurant, cocktail lounge, tour desk, business center, meeting/banquet facilities, gift shop, full service concierge and safe-deposit service at front desk. Day 4
Grand Canyon National Park Includes daily car rental. Get ready for a day full of wonder and astonishing vistas. Starting at 9:30 a.m. and departing from the hotel’s lobby, you will join a full-day tour of this natural marvel. These canyon tours are organized and operated by Dave Thayer, known as “Canyon Dave”, who is a renowned Geology teacher and wrote the book the Park Rangers use in the Canyon. Canyon Dave promisses a world-class tour, a congenial guide with a university degree, a small group, and a comfortable air-conditioned van ride. Enjoy scintillating conversations about the Grand Canyon to help you understand its geology, wildlife, history, and Native American heritage. The tour includes all fo the Grand Canyon Viewpoints along the rim, with an ecotour style introduction to the geology and wildlife of the area. The guides use scopes to show guests the main features of the Canyon. Snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day.Snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day. Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
