Day 1
Chicago Chicago is the home of the blues and the truth of jazz, the heart of comedy and the idea of the skyscraper. Here, the age of railroads found its center, and airplanes followed suit. Butcher of hogs and believer in progress, it is one of the world's great cities, and yet the metropolitan luxuries of theater, dining, and shopping have barely put a dent in real Midwestern friendliness. It's a city with a swagger, but without the surliness or even the fake smiles found in other cities of its size. Downtown is compact and walkable, featuring the Golden Mile, skyscrapers, museums, marine pier, grand parks, and every type of restaurant. Meet your professional driver for a private airport transfer in a private vehicle. Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel. Relax in the sumptuous surroundings of the Marriott Downtown Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel (3*), which is fresh from a multi-million dollar transformation, and boasts contemporary surroundings and sophisticated amenities. Overnight at Downtown Chicago Marriott (3*). |

Day 2
Chicago Enjoy a comprehensive, shared city tour (5.5hrs) including a visit to the Hancock Tower. Experience the life of Chicagoans on the South Shore as you are taken through Grant Park, Soldier Field, the Art Institute of Chicago, The Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago’s Main Business Section, "The Loop", State Street and Lake Point Towers - the world’s highest apartment building, next to Navy Pier. See the sites from one of Chicago’s tallest landmarks - Hancock tower. It takes just 39 seconds to go from the ground to the 94th floor Hancock Observatory (the world’s fastest elevators). On a clear day you can see up to 80 miles away and view four states - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Experience the open-air Skydeck, 1,000 feet above Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, where you can feel the wind, take in the sun and check out the dynamic city below. Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel. Overnight at Downtown Chicago Marriott (3*). |

Day 3
Chicago Experience a signature tour of the city onboard the hop on hop off bus, taking you to all of the top sights and allowing you the flexibility of getting from place to place. The tour covers 13 magnificent miles of Chicago's downtown and the Loop. Take your time and hop on and hop off all day! Go visit a Chicago attraction or museum, shop until you drop, or enjoy lunch and explore. Wrigley Field, Chicago History Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, and Blue Man Group are on the North neighborhoods route, or The Oprah Store, Chinatown, Greektown and Little Italy are on the west Neighborhoods route, while President Obama highlights, Museum of Science & Industry and DuSable Museum are on the south Neighborhoods route. Chicago is such a vibrant and energetic city that you simply cannot squeeze it all in on one stay. There are many tours, museums and attractions like Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Contemporary Art and National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum that you may like to have organised for you. Consider a culinary walking tour of the city, a traditional city sightseeing tour or a hop on hop off bus tour. Many tours can be done on a private or a shared basis. For night-time entertainment, consider an evening of Jazz, or maybe a pub crawl. Please ask your Sales Advisor if there is something that you don't see that you would like to do - we are able to arrange most things. Overnight at Downtown Chicago Marriott (3*). |
