Rüdesheim is a winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge and thereby part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The town belongs to the Frankfurt Rhine Main Region and is Germany’s biggest tourist attraction. Cochem is a village in the Mosel valley. The main attraction is the hilltop castle, which dates from the year 1000. Today the castle is still well-equipped with Renaissance and Baroque furniture, which was carefully collected by the Ravené family. Since 1978 the castle has been owned by the town.

Trier is a historic city in west central Germany, just six miles from the Luxembourg border.
