Itinerary

Day 1 Istanbul

Istanbul (Byzantium, and later Constantinople) is the world's 3rd largest city and Turkey's cultural and financial center. It is located on the Bosphorus Strait and encompasses the natural harbor known as the Golden Horn. It extends both on the European (Thrace) and on the Asian (Anatolia) side of the Bosphorus, and is therefore the only metropolis in the world which is situated on two continents. In its long history, Istanbul served as the capital city of the Roman Empire (330–395), the East Roman (Byzantine) Empire (395–1204 and 1261–1453), the Latin Empire (1204–1261), and the Ottoman Empire (1453–1922). The city was chosen as joint European Capital of Culture for 2010. The historic areas of Istanbul were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985.

Airport transfer with your private car and driver.

Boasting a wonderful location, the Sultanhan Hotel (4*) is a warm guesthouse reflecting Turkish hospitality, authentic decor and oriental east culture. Located on one of the most popular streets of Istanbul, Sultanhan Hotel is close to the tram stop and all the major attractions in the city. The hotel is within walking distance of St Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Golden Horn, Archaeology Museum, Obelisks, Suleymaniye, underground cistern and the covered Bazaar.

Day 2 Istanbul

Enjoy a privately guided full day tour of Istanbul and see the most important sights. Visit the St. Sophia Church, the pride and glory of the Byzantine architecture (excluding the Gallery floor); the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles; Byzantine Hippodrome, where once chariot races were held; and the Grand Bazaar, world’s largest covered bazaar with 4000 shops. Visit Topkapi Palace, the famous residence of the Sultans (The Harem section is not included in the tour).

Also, visit the Underground cistern, the largest of the underground water reservoirs from the Byzantine era. The pillars were brought from antique cities of Asia minor. The Basilica Cistern is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that still lie  near the south-west of Hagia Sophia, which was founded by Justinianus I, a Byzantine Empire (527-565) This cathedral-sized cistern is an underground chamber of 143 by 65 metres, capable of holding 80,000 cubic metres of water.

This remarkable group tour takes you to a famous night club for a dinner including 1/2 bottle of wine per person at a famous night club, accompanied by a traditional Turkish show -for the performance of folk dancers, belly-dancers, with Turkish music bands, and singers.

Embark on a private yacht charter and sail the magnificent Turkish Riviera and the nearby ancient Greek islands. Your days are more flexible than on a large cruise ship, and your specialized skipper is solely focused on making your chartered yacht cruise as pleasant as possible. You'll anchor in beautiful coves and sail along to incredible seaside cities, or perhaps choose the perfect place to stop for a swim. Chartered yacht cruises are ideal for a family vacation, a group of close friends, or to spend strengthening your connection with a loved one.

Airport transfer with your private car and driver.

Enjoy a direct flight from Istanbul to Bodrum. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour.

Meet your private driver for a transfer between the port and your hotel.

Welcome aboard!
Meet your yacht's crew and take some time to get settled into your cabin before receiving an overview on your yacht journey and your crew. You'll overnight at Bodrum.

The sailing yacht Keci Gulet is a traditional Turkish style, private cruise liner ideal for families and groups looking to charter a ship.  The Keci has 4 cabins with the capacity of holding 8 passengers.  Built in 1997, the 72 foot Keci like most gulet class ships operates via a combination of engine and sail power.

Knidos is an ancient settlement located in Turkey. It was an ancient Greek city of Caria, part of the Dorian Hexapolis. It was built partly on the mainland and partly on the Island of Triopion or Cape Krio. The debate about it being an island or cape is caused by the fact that in ancient times it was connected to the mainland by a causeway and bridge. Today the connection is formed by a narrow sandy isthmus. With 19th century excavations, the agora, the theatre, an odeum, a temple of Dionysus, a temple of the Muses, a temple of Aphrodite and a great number of minor buildings have been identified.

Datça is a district of Mugla Province in south-west Turkey, and the center town of the district. The center is situated midway through the peninsula which carries the same name as the district and the town (Datça Peninsula). Datça Peninsula is a prized location for tourists visiting Turkey, especially by sea, because of the beauty of its many coves and larger bays, which are favored ports of call for those undertaking a cruise along Turkey's spectacular southwest coast.

Symi is a Greek island and municipality. It is mountainous and includes the harbor town of Symi and its adjacent upper town Ano Symi, as well as several smaller localities, beaches, and areas of significance in history and mythology. Little is known of the island until the 14th century, but archaeological evidence indicates it was continuously inhabited, and ruins of citadels suggest it was an important location. It was first part of the Roman Empire and then the Byzantine Empire,  until its conquest by the Knights of St. John in 1373.
