Day 1
London London is the capital and largest urban area in the United Kingdom. An important settlement for two millennia, London's history goes back to its founding by the Romans. Since its settlement, London has been part of many important movements and phenomena throughout history, such as the English Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, and the Gothic Revival. London is one of the world's leading business, financial and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts contribute to its status as a major global city. The city boasts four World Heritage Sites: The Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey and St. Margaret's Church; the Tower of London; the historic settlement of Greenwich; and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Meet your driver at Heathrow airport, and take a private transfer to your hotel. W1 - This grand, nine-storey Langham hotel (5*) is located near London’s Regent Street, 300 metres from Oxford Street, and 500 metres from the green expanses of Regent’s Park. London Drive to Chartwell, two miles south of Westerham, Kent with a private vehicle and driver accompanied by an English speaking guide. Bought by Sir Winston Churchill for its magnificent views over the Weald of Kent, Chartwell was his home and the place from which he drew inspiration from 1924 until the end of his life. The rooms remain much as they were when he lived here, with pictures, books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of this great statesman. The hillside gardens reflect Churchill's love of the landscape and nature. They include the lakes he created, Lady Churchill's Rose Garden and the kitchen garden. Many of Churchill's paintings can be seen in the studio. Return to London. Overnight at Langham (5*). |

Day 3
Transatlantic Cruise Enjoy your Transatlantic passage between Europe and the Americas on your luxury cruise liner. Days at sea are relaxed with a drink in hand, and with many onboard entertainment, recreational, and health & wellness options to make your journey as pleasant as possible. Drive to Tunbridge Wells to visit the Pantiles with a private vehicle and driver accompanied by an English speaking guide. The Pantiles and Tunbridge Wells itself, owe their beginnings to the discovery of the Chalybeate Spring in the early 17th century and the popularity of the spa water amongst the gentry and royalty of Georgian England. As Tunbridge Wells grew in popularity as a spa resort, so did the area surrounding the Spring - eventually leading to the building of the colonnaded walkway in the 18th century, later known as The Pantiles. Much of the colonnade has been renewed since its beginnings in the 17th century but most of the surrounding buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries. Today the Pantiles is home to a fascinating variety of small specialist shops, antique shops and open-air cafés, restaurants and bars. An entertaining and varied program of regular events, including a fortnightly Farmers' Market, is held on the Pantiles. At the end of the tour you will be drop off Dover Pier. Welcome onboard the Crystal Symphony for a transatlantic cruise of the Northern Atlantic, which connects the Old World with the New. With a sleek silhouette, the Crystal Symphony finds a natural home in the world's most glamorous harbours and idyllic ports of call. The luxurious 50,000-ton, 922-guest ship is one of the most spacious cruise ships at sea, joining Crystal Serenity in the top two spots among Condé Nast Traveler’s best ships in the world. Day 9
Transatlantic Cruise Depart from the ship with private vehicle, local English speaking guide and heading straight to the lagoon where you will spend approximately two hours relaxing and enjoying the natural resources of Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is located southeast of Reykjavík, near the fishing village of Grindavík, on the Reykjanes peninsula. A high-temperature geothermal field supplies the Reykjanes district with hot water and steam to run a power plant, and it is the mineral rich overflow water from this operation that fills the lagoon. The geothermal water is pumped up from 6,000 feet below the earth’s surface. High levels of silica, minerals and algae give the Blue Lagoon its rich, blue color and also form a light natural sediment on the bottom. Don’t miss this chance to swim in the refreshing waters of the Blue Lagoon, whose healing properties are legendary. Entrance fee to Blue Lagoon included. Return to ship.
