Many Kyoto attractions are within easy access of the hotel, including the Imperial Palace, Kyoto's oldest temple, Toji, and Nijo Castle. Today visit magical Nara with an experienced private guide. Visit the Todaiji Temple renowned for its Hall of the Great Buddha, the largest wooden building in the world, and houses the world's largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana. The temple also serves as the Japanese headquarters of the Kegon school of Buddhism. You will continue the tour to see the famous Deer Park where deer roam free in the park and oftentimes along the walkways and streets nearby. You will also stop at Kasuga Shrine and see thousands of impressive lanterns and Horyuji Temple, the oldest remaining temple in Japan, originally built in 607. Afterwards return to your hotel in Kyoto.
