Day 1
Buenos Aires Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata. The city has a spectacular legacy of architecture and parks, and its citizens consider themselves European. It is famous for the tango, superb restaurants, and the best shopping on the continent. The city has numerous museums related to history, and art in its many forms; fine, modern, decorative, popular, sacred and arts and crafts, as well as theatre and popular music. It is also known for its preserved homes of noted art collectors, writers, composers and artists. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative who will help you locate your vehicle. Upon arrival by air into Buenos Aires' International Airport (Ezeiza/EZE), American passport holders are required to pay a reciprocity tax of $131 USD, and Canadian passport holders a tax of $70 USD. Other nationalities will vary. Payment may be done by cash (Argentine Pesos or American Dollars), credit card or travelers checks. For American passport holders, a receipt will be stapled at the back of their passport and it will be valid for the duration of the passport. After that, you will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza del Congreso and some of the main avenues such as Corrientes, de Mayo, and 9 de Julio. Enjoy views in the historical neighborhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat and the elegant neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta, and the modern Puerto Madero. Breathe in the fresh air as you pass through parks such as Lezama, Tres de Febrero and the Ecological Reserve. En route you will also get to visit financial and commercial areas and Soccer Stadiums. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back at your hotel. Day 2
Girdwood Girdwood is a year-round ski resort community within the Municipality of Anchorage in the U.S. state of Alaska. It lies in a valley in the Chugach Mountains near the end of the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet, 36 miles (61 km) southeast of Anchorage proper. It is surrounded by seven permanent glaciers. Summer activities include hiking, fishing and rafting, but Girdwood is best known for winter skiing and snowboarding on Mount Alyeska. Girdwood also hosts the Girdwood Forest Fair every summer. Day 3
Ushuaia Before boarding the ship, the expedition crew will review all of your personal diving and photography gear to ensure that you have everything you need to get the most out of your Antarctic expedition. You will meet in the evening for a briefing and dinner (included) with the crew, expedition staff, and your new diving friends at the selected hotel in Ushuaia. Together with Kensington Tours, world renowned photographer Amos Nachoum’s expeditions take him and a small group of exclusive travelers throughout the world to observe, photograph, and revere the most magnificent creatures on the planet. He has led multiple many high-profile National Geographic expedition teams, including National Geographic’s Red Sea, Great White Shark, and Killer Whale photo expeditions. Day 4
At Sea This afternoon, round up your gear and board the M/V Hanse Explorer in Ushuaia port, the southernmost city in the world, and begin your sail through the Beagle Channel. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 5
At Sea The yacht continues on it's southernly path and makes its way through the Drake Passage. Despite its reputation for rough seas, the crew's records show over 60% of crossings take place in calm seas. In any case, the ship is well-suited for all weather conditions. Day 6
At Sea Today you cross the Antarctic Convergence, and arrive in the circum-Antarctic upwelling zone, where you are likely to see several types of albatross and petrels. Near the South Shetland Islands you will glimpse your first icebergs. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 7

Day 8
At Sea Visit Deception Island where, weather permitting, you will land at Bailey Head with its colony of tens of thousands of Chinstrap Penguins. What a sight! Enjoy a flexible schedule as your group explores and dives throughout the day. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 9
At Sea Sail through the breathtaking Gerlache Straight and Lemaire Channel. You'll have a good chance of encountering humpback, minke or fin whales, as well as orca predation. Day 10
At Sea At Pleneau Island, you sail among the stunning vestiges of once-massive icebergs, an ‘iceberg graveyard.’ At Pleneau guests frequently bring back the best images of leopard seal predation. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 11
At Sea Head out on one of the on-board Zodiacs with three other guests in search of your own prime photography site. With such a small group, there's lots of flexibility in how the day unfolds. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 12
At Sea Coverville is another prime producer of encounters with the powerful leopard seal. Males can grow up to 17 feet in length, and weigh 1,000 pounds. Day 13
At Sea Venture out to Port Lockroy in search of more leopard seals, as well as other strange marine life you'll only encounter in these icy cold waters. You never know what you'll encounter on any given dive. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 14
At Sea Make your way to Astrolabe Island for some diving. Keep your eye out for penguins, which are sure to attract some large hungry predators into the area. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 15
At Sea Another Island in the southwest Arctic Peninsula you will voyage to is Gourdin Island. Also known for a strong leopard seal population in the area, this is likely to offer wonderful photo opportunities. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 16
At Sea Today is your final day of diving in the Antarctic Peninsula. Get in the water and make sure you get some memorable shots. You will leave the Peninsula in the late afternoon and start the cruise back to Ushuaia. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

At Sea Just like you came, your vessel will return through the Drake Passage as it travels back toward port. Enjoy a day of relaxation on the ship. Overnight at M/V Hanse Explorer. |

Day 18
At Sea Enjoy one last sunset aboard the Hanse Explorer as it returns through the Beagle Straight to Ushuaia. This is your final night on the vessel.
