Zambia is an emerging powerhouse as one of the most perfect places to go on safari. The various parks allow you to track game by the tradtional route of 4X4 but also on foot and canoe! Starting off in Livingstone, where you'll experience the majestic Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is situated in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are, by some measures, the largest waterfall in the world, as well as being among the most unusual in form, and having arguably the most diverse and easily seen wildlife of any major waterfall site. You will enjoy a private guided toursof the falls, as well as a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river. You'll hop on a charter flight to your next destination South Luangwa. Experts have dubbed South Luangwa as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and not without reason. The concentration of game around the Luangwa river and it’s ox bow lagoons is among the most intense in Africa. After a few nights you'll head over to the Lower Zambezi area. This is Zambia’s newest Park and as such is still relatively undeveloped, but it’s beauty lies in it’s absolute wilderness state. The diversity of animals is not as wide as the other big parks, but the opportunities to get close to game wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular. The Park lies opposite the famous Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe, so the whole area on both sides of the river is a massive wildlife sanctuary. You'll take a charter flight back to Lusaka where you will catch your international flight home. Due to Water Levels the Lower Zambezi is not reachable from November through March. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOWER ZAMBEZI AREA IS CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER - MARCH SO THIS COMPLETE TRIP IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING THIS TIME.

The Lower Zambezi was for many years a forgotten wilderness and because of its remote location, has become a haven for many of Africa’s ‘big game’ species. The park is situated in the Zambezi Valley, opposite Mana Pools National Park, a World Heritage Site. It is bordered by the steep Mukamba Escarpment to the North and the Zambezi River to the South, which concentrates the animals in a fairly narrow riverine corridor, making for excellent game viewing Lower Zambezi is Zambia’s newest National Park and is still relatively undeveloped, but it’s beauty lies in it’s absolute wilderness state. The diversity of animals is not as wide as the other big parks, but the opportunities to get close to game wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular.
