Day 1
Nairobi Includes Flying Doctors air ambulance emergency evacuation to Nairobi in the event of serious illness. Nairobi is the least expensive arrival city for flights with a full range of hotels and local attractions. Dubbed the “Safari Capital of the World” cool, clear and cosmopolitan Nairobi is the natural departure point for most safari itineraries. A city of contrasts, it is simultaneously the largest, the youngest, the most modern, the highest (1700m) and the fastest growing city in East Africa. High-altitude Nairobi enjoys a pleasant tropical climate all year round. There are ATMs and banks to stock up on cash, great restaurants, and malls where you can purchase any forgotten items.

Day 2
Nairobi Play a round of 18 holes at the Windsor Golf Club. The championship design and 7277 yards length of this par 72 course is the centre of attention and deservedly so. It threads its way through coffee farms and indigenous forests with high and low terrain, giving it character and design quality. The course boasts lush, springy fairways, fast, true greens and a sprinkling of attractive water hazards with 73 well located sand bunkers and unforgiving roughs. Even for the non-golfer the course is a beautiful walking experience luxuriating in the wonders of nature with bird life, fish, flora and fauna in abundance. Private guide and driver. Day 3
Nairobi - Mt Kenya Private transportation to Mt. Kenya National Park. The lodge has a water hole which attracts animals at dawn and dusk. Relax in comfort as you watch nature's spectacle. With magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya, the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club's 120 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offer a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Originally the retreat of movie star and Club founder, William Holden, the Club's illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. For those who wish to spend time relaxing at the Club, there are many recreational activities available: horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage and much more. Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya, and the second highest in Africa (after Mount Kilimanjaro). The highest peaks of the mountain are Batian (5,199 m - 17,058 ft), Nelion (5,188 m - 17,022 ft) and Lenana (4,985 m - 16,355 ft). It is located in central Kenya, just south of the equator, around 150 km (95 miles) north-northeast of Nairobi. The area around the mountain is protected in the Mount Kenya National Park, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain is best seen at dawn, when the days early light silhouettes its impressive summit high over the surrounding plains.

Day 4
Mt Kenya Mount Kenya Safari Club is unique for its views of nature's great anomaly - a snowcapped mountain lying on the equator. This exclusive retreat opened in 1959 as the private home of William Holden. Despite the fact that the course is a 9 hole pitch and putt, composed entirely of par 3 holes, it is quite challenging requiring accurate shot placement. The course is laid out on one of the most beautiful and serene settings in Africa, with a variety of flowers and birds. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Day 5
Mt Kenya - Naivasha This morning you will leave Mt. Kenya and drive to Nakuru. Along the way you will see amazing scenery as you drop down into the Rift Valley. (3hours) Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Sign up for optional activities at your resort (not included in tour price); horse-riding, bird-watching, fishing, water sports, cycling, lake trips and nature trails. Enjoy dinner (included in tour price). The Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort is seated on the side of the Eburru Escarpment, with Lake Naivasha at its fingertips and a huge expanse of land on which to play and toil. The lodge has 80 chalets and 40 villas, plus 30 rooms, and can fit 200 people. Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort is the perfect stopover on a safari to the Maasai Mara or the sights of western Kenya. With a multitude of sports and games to play, including tennis court lessons, horseback safaris, and bird walks. Naivasha is one of our favorite places to pause a safari, lush, cool and relaxing - is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across but its waters are shallow and thick with hippo. Hell's Gate National Park, Longonot National Park and Mount Longonot are nearby attractions. Boat tours on the lake are popular to observe birdlife and hippopotamus behavior, or explore Crescent Island on foot.

Day 6
Naivasha Transfer between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. The drive usually takes 1 hour. Enjoy game viewing on arrival. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. The lake's abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

Day 7
Naivasha - Mombasa Private transportation with your guide to Nairobi from Naivasha lake and the Rift Valley. Drive takes about 1.5 hours. Take your flight either from Wilson Apt to Moi Int'l Apt or from Jomo Kenyatta Int'l Apt to Moi Int'l Apt today. The flight duration is approximately 1 hr. Day 8
Mombasa Nyali Golf and Country Club's championship 18 hole course is located on the Indian Ocean coast. This 6510 yards par 71 course is gently rolling with a mix of right and left doglegs and shallow fairway bushes. Players will see an abundance of wildlife including dik-dik and bands of vervet monkeys, the club's mascot, frolicking about the course. While the course is not located on the ocean, the winds influence the playing conditions. The course displays a number of beautiful flowering trees, including the flamboyant Flame tree, originally from Madagascar. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Day 9
Mombasa - Nairobi Sign up for optional activities at your resort (not included in tour price); deep sea fishing, boat excursions, scuba diving, or other. Take your flight from Mombasa to Wilson Airport, Nairobi today. The flight duration is approximately 1 hour. Airport transfer with private vehicle and guide. Before leaving that night, stop by the kensington office for free use of internet, lounge, showers and drinks. (We can arrange dinner at Carnivore game meat restaurant, though there is limited wild meat on the menu these days - please let us know in advance and if you are veg.) Airport transfer with private vehicle and guide. Depart from Nairobi international airport - end of itinerary.
